How can we beat Diabetes?
It was during the summer of 1994 when one night, I experienced blurry vision and could not understand what was happening to me. The rain that night was so heavy, I was not so sure that I would be able to drive with blurry vision. However, I knew something was wrong. I drove over to Orange General Hospital where I as immediately seen in the ER. After a urine test I got the verdict that my sugar level was 400mgl. I was admitted and spent a week in the hospital.
Well, that was the beginning of my journey as a type 2 diabetic. It has been a very challenging span of 24 years seeing no less than 10 doctors of many different disciplines. I'm being treated for all of the complications that come with diabetes. As it has been established that there is no cure for diabetes, the disease has become a multibillion dollar industry. There are so many trials and there are also myths and don't know what to do, I will tell what I have tried. Stay Tuned,
